After successfully completing entry probation, the tradesman is reimbursed up to $150 for footwear). The maintenance operations supervisor is issued (2) long or short sleeve black polo shirts (in any combination) with embroidered IDOC logo and words ‘Mechanical Services’ on left breast pocket area. The maintenance operations supervisor is issued (2) tan tactical pants. Leather Accessories (black basket weave) (1) black waist belt (leather) (1) key holder (leather) (1) radio holder (leather) (1) flashlight holder (leather) Additional Accessories (1) employee identification card (1) flashlight (1) multi-purpose tool such as a Gerber® or Leatherman® (such tools must be handled in accordance with SOP 509.02.01.001, Tool Control.) At the end of initial probationary period (1) black standard vest (IDOC logo on left breast pocket area with words ‘Mechanical Services’ embroidered) (3) shirts, same as initial issue (3) pants, same as initial issue To equal a total of five complete uniforms Reissue Boots or shoes –When boots or shoes are no longer serviceable, tradesmen choose and purchase their own footwear best suited to their positions and are reimbursed up to $150. (Must provide purchase receipt for reimbursement) Replacement of non-serviceable uniform items on a one-for-one exchange up to but not to exceed five uniforms sets (pants and shirts).
