POLICY STATEMENT
It is the department’s policy to reduce recidivism by having and maintaining community
reentry centers to allow eligible minimum custody inmates the opportunity to reenter and
work in the community before release from custody.
SCOPE
This policy applies to all department staff and inmates at community reentry centers.
RESPONSIBILITY
The chief of education, treatment, and reentry is responsible to create and maintain
standard operating procedure to carry out this policy and govern operation of community
reentry centers.
