It is the policy of the Board of Correction that the Idaho Department of Correction will
provide appropriately classified and screened inmate workers to public agencies (local,
state and federal) and not-for-profit organizations for use on public works, conservation
and community projects.

Budgeting and purchasing,
Contracting work projects,
Assigning work project staff,

Selecting inmate workers,
Providing appropriate clothing, equipment and training to both inmate workers and
assigned staff,
