It is the policy of the Board of Correction that the Department of Correction will transfer
appropriately selected inmates to other state and federal institutions via the interstate
corrections compact. All transfers will be based on criteria consistent with the safety
and security concerns of the department and will be in accordance with the interstate
corrections compact.
