Inmates shall conduct themselves in accordance with the Department’s rules and
regulations and shall comply with all statutes.

All inmates will have access to a copy of the Department’s inmate rules and regulations
manual for the institution in which they are housed. If the inmate is unable to read
and/or speak English, one of the institutional personnel shall ensure the rules and
regulations are read to him in a manner that will ensure his comprehension.
Inmates will also adhere to the procedures contained in the institution’s rules and
regulations.
Violations of attempted violations of the rules and regulations may lead to disciplinary
action which, if taken, shall be implemented in the manner prescribed by the
Department.
Inmate behavior in violation of local, state, Federal laws may be reported to the proper
legal authorities for judicial action.
