POLICY STATEMENT
It is the policy of the department that all employees of the Idaho Department of Correction
(IDOC), Correctional Industries, Commission of Pardon and Parole , and all contractors,
volunteers and agents have a commitment to professional conduct and refrain from
fraternization with offenders.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to communicate the department’s expectations regarding non-
fraternization with offenders.
SCOPE
This policy applies to all department employees, contractors, volunteers, and agents.
RESPONSIBILITY
The human resource manager is responsible to establish a standard operating procedure
regarding non-fraternization with offenders.
