Purpose
The purpose of this field memorandum is to provide specific guidelines that are unique to this facility in order to fully implement standard operating procedure509.02.01.003.
General Statement
This field memorandum is subject to revision at the discretion of the Warden of this facility, Chief of the Operations Division (or designee), or Director of the Idaho Department of
Correction. Any one of these persons may revise, suspend, or rescind any procedural steps, at any time, at hissole discretion.

EXCEPTION
The Facility Head has reviewed and acknowledges that Idaho State Correctional Center (ISCC) a medium/close custody facility approves the following exceptions for storage under Hazardous
and Flammable Materials Handling and Control Procedures as outlined in SOP 509.02.01.003.
All areas that are listed will maintain and conduct proper inventory and storage of Hazardous materials. This includes the close supervision during the use of these materials. Additionally
area supervisors are to consider purchasing comparable non-hazardous safe products that are less likely to be abused, misused or dangerous in a correctional setting.

Flammable and Combustible Materials Accountability
The Quality Assurance manager will maintain a list of products that are currently in use at the facility that require exception storage. This list is to be reviewed bi-annually by the
facility head.
