Purpose
The purpose of this field memorandum is to provide specific guidelines that are unique to this facility in order to fully implement standard operating procedure504.02.01.001. The deputy
warden of security has oversight responsibility.
General Statement
This field memorandum is subject to revision at the discretion of the warden of this facility, chief of the Operations Division (or designee), or director of the Idaho Department of
Correction. Any one of these persons may revise, suspend, or rescind any procedural steps, at any time, at hissole discretion.

ASSIGNED STAFF
Facility investigators are security staff, exempt positions. Currently there are four staff assigned to the Investigation office.
Theinvestigation sergeant is responsible for annually reviewing and updating field memoranda on investigations and intelligence gathering.
WEEKLY REPORT
The weekly Intelligence Summary (Appendix C, SOP 504.02.01.001 Investigations and Intelligence Program) will be emailed from the Investigations office to the Warden, Deputy Warden of
Security, and Captain. A copy will be forwarded to the Division Intelligence Coordinator.
MONTHLY REPORT
The monthly summary of intelligence and investigative activity will be emailed from the Investigation’s office to the Warden, Deputy Warden of Security, and Captain, and the investigators
will meet with the Warden once a month.
