Purpose
The purpose of this field memorandum is to provide specific guidelines that are unique to this facility in order to fully implement standard operating procedure503.02.01.001. The deputy
warden of security has oversight responsibility.
General Statement
This field memorandum is subject to revision at the discretion of the warden of this facility, chief of the Operations Division (or designee), or director of the Idaho Department of
Correction. Any one of these persons may revise, suspend, or rescind any procedural steps, at any time, at hissole discretion.

PROCEDURAL GUIDELINES
The hours of inmate access to the phones are the hours the dayrooms are open in the units.
The maximum length of telephone calls is 30 minutes.
Staff members approved to have access to the monitoring equipment are those assigned to investigations, the deputy wardens, the warden, and anyone designated by the warden. Only the
warden, deputy warden of security, or captain may approve telephone monitoring access. Staff may not share user access; each staff member must have his/her own access.
The site coordinator for the monitoring equipment is the assigned investigations sergeant. A representative from the contracted company is the coordinator for inmate PINs, telephone
repair, and general questions.
