HomeMy WebLinkAbout122.02.01.001 (ISCC FM) Non-Uniform Staff Appearance 7-18 draft __________________________ This document was approved by Randy Blades, Warden of ISCC, on 07/19/2016 Purpose The purpose of this field memorandum is to provide specific guidelines that are unique to this facility in order to fully implement standard operating procedure 122.02.01.001. The Warden has oversight responsibility. General Statement This field memorandum is subject to revision at the discretion of the Warden of this facility, Chief of the Operations Division (or designee), or Director of the Idaho Department of Correction. Any one of these persons may revise, suspend, or rescind any procedural steps, at any time, at hissole discretion. TABLE OF CONTENTSApplicability1Guidelines1References2 APPLICABILITY All non-uniform staff, contract vendors, interns, and volunteers should be dressed in a professional manner for a casual business environment and appropriate to the work assignment. Security personnel who visit or are present in the facility (i.e. training) but not in uniform will follow the guidelines within this memorandum. GUIDELINESDepartment issued ID badges will be worn at all times.Clothing that resembles offender’s attire must not be worn.Jewelry should be in good taste and appropriate for the type of clothing worn. Non-traditional jewelry (i.e., nose, eyebrow, or tongue rings) is not permitted.Hair should be worn in a conservative and professional style.Footwear – Loafers, boots, flats, leather deck shoes, and athletic shoes are acceptable. All shoes must be in good repair, clean and not overly scuffed or worn out. Due to health and safety concerns, open-toed shoes are not allowed. Females Dresses or skirts no shorter than knee lengthSlacks or pants. No shorts.
