SIPR & COMMUTATION PROCESS FOR ISCC INMATES Any inmates wishing to file an SIPR or Commutation will request this from his assigned Correctional Case Manager. The CCM will meet with the inmate to discuss eligibility. If approved, the Case Manager will contact an education computer lab instructor informing him that an inmate has been approved for completion of a SIPR/Commutation form. The inmate will present himself to the designated computer lab instructor to schedule a time (Monday – Friday 8:00, 12:00 or 2:00) and will be offered use of a designated computer for completion of the appropriate form(s). Upon completion, the lab instructor will email the form to the Case Manager. The Case Manager will review the form for completeness/timeliness, then both the inmate and Case Manager will sign it and the Case Manager will email it to paroleweb@idoc.idaho.gov at the Parole Commission. The Case Manager will document with a C-note in CIS that the submission took place. Exceptions: If assigned to long term restrictive housing, the CCM will give the offender a blank SIPR/Commutation form to be handwritten by the inmate. When the inmate completes the SIPR/Commutation form, he will send a concern form to the CCM to request a time to review the completed form. The CCM will review the form to make certain it is correct, legible and is within required timelines. If appropriate, the CCM will arrange for the document to be typed up by an AA and then meet with the inmate again for signatures before sending it to the Parole Commission at paroleweb@idoc.idaho.gov The CCM will document with a C-note in CIS that the submission took place.
