Purpose The purpose of this field memorandum is to provide specific guidelines that are unique to this facility in order to fully implement standard operating procedure 604.02.01.001. General Statement This field memorandum is subject to revision at the discretion of the warden of this facility, chief of the Operations Division (or designee), or director of the Idaho Department of Correction. Visiting Schedule ISCC provides visitation for all custody levels housed at ISCC as follows: Close and Protective Custody inmates have two sessions per day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday:Close custody every other week 0915-1145 and 1500-1615 Monday:Protective Custody every other week 0915-1145 and 1500-1615 Tuesday:Protective Custody every other week 0915-1145 and 1500-1615 Tuesday:Close custody every other week 0915-1145 and 1500-1615 Wednesday:Close custody every other week 0915-1145 and 1500-1615 Wednesday: Protective Custody every other week 0915-1145 and 1500-1615 General Population inmates have three sessions per day on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thursday: 1200-1415, 1500-1715, and 1800-2015 Friday: 1200-1415, 1500-1715, and 1800-2015 Saturday:0900-1115, 1200-1415, and 1500-1715 Sunday:0900-1115, 1200-1415, and 1500-1715 2. Visiting Room Capacity ISCC’s visiting room capacity is 175 and is posted in the visiting room. 3. Number of Allowed Visitors ISCC allows three (3) visitors per inmate, per visiting session. 4. Visiting Location All visiting at ISCC is conducted in the visiting room area. This includes non-contact visiting that is accomplished with the video phone system. 5. Use of Restrooms Visitor restroom use Visitors are allowed to use the restroom in the visiting area. Only one visitor at a time will be allowed to use the restroom unless they are accompanying an infant. Offender Restroom Use Inmates requiring the use of the restroom will wait for the mid-session restroom break. All inmates requesting a restroom break will be directed by staff to move to a designated area and will be given a pat search. The visiting officer will maintain a constant visual of each inmate as they use the restroom. Should the officer lose visual contact with an inmate using the restroom an unclothed body search will be completed. References SOP 604.02.01.001 Visiting – End of Document –
